Kuala Kubu Bharu Hot Spring
A little known hot spring in the Taman Arif area of Kuala Kubu Bharu. It was only discovered about ten years ago and local residents have not spread the word too widely so that they can enjoy the place to themselves.
Now the District Council wants to make it into more of an attraction and has put up direction signs for people to come.
It is a simple spring with one concrete-lined pool with a sub-divided section where the spring emerges. The water is hot but bearable.
The district council has constructed two gazebos for shade and a small building for toilets (but with no toilets inside as yet).

Sungai Chiling Fish Sanctuary, Kuala Kubu Bharu
Often hailed as Selangor’s most beautiful waterfall, the Chiling Waterfalls and Santuari Ikan Sungai Chiling (Mahseer Fish Sanctuary) are located just over an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur.
Together with Gabai Waterfalls, the Chiling falls are situated within Taman Warisan Negeri Selangor (Selangor State Park).
An enjoyable jungle trek takes visitors across streams and rivers, passing exotic plants like wild orchids and bamboo, before reaching the signature 80-meter waterfall overlooking a calm lagoon.
The waterfalls and rivers are also the site of the Mahseer Fish Sanctuary managed by the Selangor Fisheries Department and Selangor Forestry Department.
The main aim of the sanctuary is to provide a safe haven for mahseer fish.
Today, the area has become an important habitat and natural breeding grounds for the fish who roam the creeks along the river to the main waterfall area.
Water Rafting Selangor River
