In this video where you can see, one of the flight attendants tries to put down the fire with the fire extinguisher. Everyone can see the smoke come out from handbag owned by one of the passengers. As everyone can see there is burn mark inside that handbag.

This incident is not the first time happen actually. It happens many times before during flight. It can happen if you are not followed rules that have been set from the flight company. Follow the rules if you want to have a safe journey during flight.
Power Bank Flight Restriction
Power bank must only be carried in hand luggage or carried around. It is not allowed to carry power banks in checked luggage. If the rated power is less than 100Wh, power banks can be carried without approval; power banks with the power between 100Wh and 160Wh can be carried after approval of air carrier.
The power bank should be taken as “Hand-Carry Luggage” during flight and did not used the power bank during flying for safety. It doesn’t matter what brand of the power bank you owned, the chemical inside the battery still the same and the consequences still same.
The power bank is allowed to take as hand-carry luggage but the limit for the battery is 20,000 mAh only.
