Amazing Z9 Resort
Inspired by the biblical Mount Sinai in Egypt, Z9 (Zinine) Resort in Kanchanaburi similarly want to present the peaceful shelter with the philosophy: Recharge your life energy, renew your spirit. And that is what this place is all about getting away from it all for a weekend and just enjoy the calm surroundings with a peaceful nature.
The design by Dersyn Studio manages to be both classical and futuristic, each room stepping out onto a private terrace with unobstructed views of the reservoir. Lounge on beanbags on the communal floating deck or retreat to shore and the resort’s restaurant and bar.

Getting to Kanchanaburi from Bangkok is not a problem. But getting to the resort is more tricky, and I think you need a car (and Google Maps). If you’re not able to rent a car as we did, call the resort and ask if they can arrange a driver for you.
